This quick hitter is designed for your 3-man to get an opportunity to catch and score close to the basket on two different cutting opportunities. The first chance comes at the beginning when 1 sets the lane screen for 3, followed by later after a ball reversal where 5 sets a screen for 3. Give it a try!

With 10 seconds left in the fourth quarter of game 4, OKC was down 94-92.  OKC ran this play to free Durant up for a drive to the basket which tied the game.

This is the last counter in a series that the Dallas Mavericks used against the Miami Heat in their title run in 2011. Rick Carlisle does an excellent job of recognizing the strengths of the players that he has on the floor and taking advantage of those strengths. In this play sequence Jason Kidd is the (1), JET Jason Terry is the (2), Shawn Marion is the (3), Dirk is the (4), and Tyson Chandler is the (5). This set is a great example of getting your best scorers. Dirk (4) and Jason Terry (2) in position to do some damage.

Memphis opening play of the fourth quarter in their game 4 win over OKC.  The way Collison played the screen and rescreen by Gasol allowed Gasol to get deep post position.  Arthur doesn't feed Gasol but dribble hand offs with Bayless.  Sending two defenders to Bayless on the DHO was a great move because OKC gave up a 18 ft jump shot to Arthur which is a relatively low % shot.

Opening play by OKC in the 4th quarter of their 103-97 game 4 loss to Memphis.  An effective screen by Fisher frees Durant up to catch the ball.  A strong side drive by Durant draws three defenders and he passes to an open Martin in the corner.  As you can see x3 plays inside Collison because x5 rotates to stop the drive.  This defensive rotation frees up the highest percentage 3 point shot in the corner.
